John Webster (born February 28, 1992), commonly referred to as Big John, is a fictional character from the E4 coming-of-age British sitcom The Inbetweeners, portrayed by John Seaward. He makes his first appearance during the pilot episode "First Day", that was broadcasted on May 1, 2008. He makes his appearance in almost every episode throughout the series, but not appearing in the follow-up movies.
Big John serves as a recurring character. He is a member of "The Freaks" and has the most screen time, out of every member from the group.

Big John is a "weird" child, who is a victim of bullying. Many people know a weird child, who goes to the same school as them and he was made to through off that vibe, with most people knowing someone like him. Big John is seen to be a pupil that is unpopular, and everyone will do everything they can to not be near him.
Big John is seen to be slightly insecure, but stands up for himself, like when he said to Jay Cartwright "I've got feelings too, you know, you cunt?", after he commented on his weight.
Despite being socially worse off than The Inbetweeners, Big John does seem to be on good terms with some of the more "popular" students. In the episode "Will's Birthday", he is seen at the party of popular student, Louise Graham and appears to have pulled a girl, given that he had his hand on one of her breasts, which neil refered to as "W rizz".

Big John is nice to people and usually offers them with some advice and is always welcoming. He loves food and eats large amounts of it. Although loving many foods, Big John has been shown to have a huge passion for burgers with all of his love, with lasagne as a second favourite and pussy as his third favourite. He loves food so much, that he can be bored without it and constantly debating and discussing about food, as shown in Xmas Party.
Big John is shown to be good with the boys, as he is seen to stand up for Will McKenzie, when he was getting touched intimately by Mark Donovan, in Xmas Party. He was also invited to Neil Sutherland's eighteenth birthday party, in "Will's Dilemma". However, Jay is shown to to antagonise Big John the most, as he has said many horrible things about him like calling him a "squishy sexy chunk of meat" in the episode The field trip
